Corn Chart - Technical Analysis

About Corn Futures

This chart shows Corn futures end of day prices from CBOT exchange. Corn is traded in contracts which expire 5 times per year in March, May, July, September and December. Often producers of Corn will lock in a future price, and hedge themselves against risk associated with production.

Corn can also be traded via options. Options allow speculators to go long with a call option, or short with a put option. The options expire at a pre determined date, the trader can make money if the option expires positive in relation to their position direction.
